On September 10th, 2004 the workshop 'ICZM in Schleswsig-Holstein - State of the Art and Outlook' took place in Kiel, Germany as part of the tasks within the interreg III C-project CoPraNet (Coastal Practice Network). Invited were the heads of the districts in Schleswig-Holstein, representatives from business development organisations, the chambers of commerce and industry and from private enterprises. Aim of the workshop was to determine wether and how far ICZM has been implemented in the regions of Schleswig-Holstein yet. This is also to be seen before the background of the frame concept 'ICZM in Schleswig-Holstein', published in April 2003, and the initiative 'Zukunft Meer' (Sea the Future)in Schleswig-Holstein.
